The Echols Files: The Commissioner

Eric D. Echols is a founding partner of TFP Company, LLC. Eric began his career at 16 years old by completing a protective services program taught by the Detroit Police Department before graduating high school. Eric served his country as a United States Marine. Once completed his enlisted years with the Marines, he began a career in loss prevention and security.

He has 40 years of experience in the security, loss prevention and investigations. He has worked with several Fortune 500 companies as a Trainer, Manager, Regional Investigator, Regional Loss Prevention Director, Southeast Divisional Vice President, and Director of Security & Loss Prevention. Eric is a Certified Forensic Interviewer (“CFI”), and his interview and interrogation expertise in retail, criminal and civil investigations, employee theft, premises liability, personal injury, and security negligence make him one of the best in the field of private investigations and as a Expert Witness.

Eric has trained throughout the country and is the published author of The Echols Files: Catoosa County Justice, as well as, published articles on topics related to premises liability, conducting dishonest interviews, security management, security negligence, and retail loss prevention. Eric was also the recipient of the 2018 Julia Humbles Civil Rights Award for his investigative work on local and high profiled cases.
